Monte Viejo is a rural area located in the *corregimiento* of Herrera, in the La Chorrera district of the Panamá Oeste province. It is situated near the village of La Cocobola and the Estancias Las Mendozas neighborhood. This land is ideal for cattle farming or the cultivation of pineapples, a crop typical of the region.
